Usage Note

Albularyo is a traditional Filipino folk healer who uses herbs, prayers, and rituals to treat illness, derived from Spanish herbolario (herbalist). Despite modern medicine, albularyo remain relevant in rural communities and are consulted for ailments thought to have supernatural causes.
