Usage Note

Dalhin is the object-focus infinitive of dalá, formed by irregular vowel deletion that contracts dala + -hin to dalhin. One of the most common verbs in Filipino, it is used whenever the thing being carried or transported is the grammatical focus, and pairs with the actor-focus magdala.
