Kompensasyon is a Spanish loanword (from compensación) used in labor law, business negotiations, and everyday workplace discussions. With the large number of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and an active labor rights movement, kompensasyon is a frequent term in discussions of wages, benefits, and legal settlements.
