Usage Note
Kudyapi is a traditional Philippine zither found among Lumad and Maguindanaon communities in Mindanao, with a long boat-shaped body carved from a single piece of wood. Considered a prestige instrument often played for courtship or ritual, it has a meditative sound deeply tied to indigenous cultural identity.
