Nominado refers to a person who has been nominated for a position, award, or candidacy. It is used in formal contexts such as elections, film awards (e.g., MMFF nominees), or organizational roles. The form is the same for both adjective (nominated) and noun (nominee) usage. The feminine form 'nominada' is sometimes used for women.
