Ilokano refers collectively to the ethnolinguistic group native to the Ilocos region and parts of the Cagayan Valley. Ilokanos are the third-largest ethnolinguistic group in the Philippines and have one of the most widely distributed diaspora communities; the word can be used as both a noun and an adjective.
