Usage Note
Artipisyal is an anglicized loanword used to describe things that are man-made rather than natural, or that appear fake or insincere. It is used in contexts ranging from food labeling (artipisyal na sangkap — artificial ingredients) to describing inauthentic behavior. The more formal Spanish-rooted variant 'artipisyoso' is sometimes heard but less common.
