Usage Note
Orig is a clipped slang form of 'original' widely used among Filipino youth and in informal markets to mean genuine or not counterfeit. It is most often heard when buying branded goods and carries a sense of quality assurance that its longer counterpart orihinal does not always convey in casual speech.
