ostentasyon

ostentation; showy display of wealth
Usage Note
Ostentasyon is a Spanish loanword used in formal writing and social commentary to describe the gaudy display of wealth or status. In Filipino culture, excessive ostentasyon can attract criticism as it conflicts with the value of kababaang-loob, though conspicuous consumption also functions as a status marker.
