Usage Note

Hintuan refers to a designated stopping point for vehicles — a bus stop, terminal, or pickup zone. Derived from hinto (to stop), it is used in transportation contexts and appears on signs in cities and provinces. 'Hintong lugar' is sometimes used interchangeably in informal speech.
