Usage Note
Kumibo is the actor-focus -um- form of kibo, almost exclusively used in negative constructions to convey deliberate silence, stillness, or non-reaction. The expected collocate is hindi — signaling a pointed refusal to speak, move, or respond. This negative default gives the word a charged quality: silence is conspicuous, not neutral.
