Usage Note
Harimanawari! is an archaic and literary exclamation expressing a fervent wish or prayer that something will come to pass. Rarely used in contemporary everyday speech, it appears in classical Tagalog literature and formal prayers, conveying hopeful longing similar to 'would that it were so' in English.
