Usage Note
Klase is extremely versatile in Tagalog, borrowed from Spanish 'clase.' It can mean a school class or lesson, a social class, or a type/kind of something. The phrase 'anong klase' (what kind) is one of the most common question patterns. It also carries connotations of quality, as in 'may klase' (has class / stylish).
