Negosasyon is borrowed from Spanish negociación and is a formal term used in business, diplomacy, and conflict resolution to describe discussions aimed at reaching a mutually acceptable agreement. In everyday Filipino speech, usapan or pakikipagnegosasyon may be used in its place.
