Usage Note
Hayo! is an emphatic exclamation commanding someone to go, move along, or get out, ranging in tone from playful to stern depending on context. It is less polite than 'umalis ka na' but more energetic, heard from parents, coaches, and anyone giving an enthusiastic send-off.
