Usage Note

Bulyaw is a loud, sharp shout of anger or reprimand — the kind directed at someone to scare them off or express furious disapproval. It is stronger and more aggressive than sigaw (shout) and implies a loss of emotional control. It is often used to describe how elders or authority figures react to disobedience.
