Usage Note
Kagandahang-asal literally means 'beauty of conduct' and is the standard Filipino term for good manners and right conduct, the subject taught in Philippine schools under the subject GMRC (Good Manners and Right Conduct). It encompasses politeness, respect for elders, and socially appropriate behavior — core values in Filipino upbringing.
