Usage Note
Tindi expresses the degree of intensity or severity of something — pain, heat, emotion, or a situation. The exclamation 'ang tindi!' ('so intense!' or 'that's something else!') is very common in everyday speech and can convey admiration, shock, or exasperation depending on context. It is one of the more versatile intensifiers in colloquial Tagalog.
