Usage Note

Ambahan is a traditional heptasyllabic poetic form of the Hanunuo Mangyan people of Mindoro, written in the ancient Hanunuo script on bamboo. These poems address themes of love, wisdom, and social relationships and are recognized as an important part of Philippine intangible cultural heritage.
