Usage Note
Bahag is the traditional loincloth worn by indigenous men in various Filipino ethnic groups, including the Igorot of the Cordillera. It is still worn during cultural performances and festivals as a mark of ethnic identity and pride. Outside of indigenous or cultural contexts, it may colloquially refer to any minimal underwear.
