Usage Note
Dalanghita refers to a small, sweet mandarin-type citrus grown in the Philippines. It is closely related to the dalandan but generally sweeter and easier to peel. Often given as a gift during the holiday season, it is associated with celebrations and good fortune in Filipino culture.
