Usage Note
Dalumat is a philosophical and academic term for deep comprehension or conceptual understanding. It is common in Filipino linguistic scholarship and educational discourse. Unlike 'pag-unawa' (understanding), dalumat implies an active grasping of meaning at a conceptual or theoretical level.
