Pusit is a common seafood in Filipino cuisine, prepared in many ways including grilled, adobo-style, and stuffed. 'Pusit sa gata' (squid in coconut milk) and 'inihaw na pusit' (grilled squid) are popular dishes. Pusit ink (tinta ng pusit) is also used as a sauce base.
