Angal refers to a verbal complaint or protest, often with a tone of persistent grumbling. It is commonly used when someone repeatedly voices dissatisfaction about a situation. The verb form is umaangal or mag-angal. In everyday speech it can carry a mildly negative connotation, implying the complainant is being unreasonable.
