Kasí is one of the most frequently used words in spoken Filipino, serving as an informal equivalent of 'kasi' meaning 'because'. It is colloquial and conversational, appearing constantly in everyday speech to give reasons or explanations. In formal writing, 'dahil' or 'sapagkat' are preferred.
